Sober Sister

Hey Guys, just got back from a two week cruise in Europe with the fam. It was a blast and we got to see some really cool places-my fav was norway actually.

I won't bore you with too many details but i do have a few stories...
Turns out our cruise was an old person cruise. everyone was in wheelchairs and had canes-even my parents felt a little out of place. Turns out that of the 2,000something pple on the boat, only 40 were in the 18-25 age group, 38 if you don't count me and my sister. So we spent most of the time in the casino or the bar (fine by me) and met most of the pple our age.

I hung out a lot with two guys from U. of Alabama, and two brothers from U. of Flordia. The alabama guys got adopted into our family and hung out with us a lot.
Most of you have met my sister jessica. she is only 20, but since the cruise was in europe the drinking age was 18 and she was allowed to drink-i thought were were going to have a ton of fun...well turns out over the two weeks jess drank two drinks...which is less than i had on any given night, so she was kind of a debby....best part is, on the last night i got her to stay out with me and the boys for our big drink. bad idea.
i decided it was a good idea to take the bet to drink until the first person blacks out (against four boys). so we start drinking. and drinking. by 4:30 jess wants out so i think its probably a good idea to peace with her, since one boy was making terrible passes at me including: (while unbuttoning his shirt and dancing) hey baby you know you want some of this, come dance with me baby, and this: do you have a room to yourself or are you sharing one with your parents.
but the best part is, one of the other boys decides to confide in my very sober sister that he is manic depressive and also that he likes me, but does not want to sleep with me since he likes my family a lot and that would be awkward.
gets better: next morning my dad wakes me up and asks how the night was, already knowing i was out late. still drunk i tell him that he didn't pay for any of my drinks last night thinking he will be happy. his eyes get a look of terror when he asks who paid for my drinks....as i begin to tell him that mike paid for three or so beers and evan paid for a beer and a shot, his eyes get really big that i drank that much. when i tell him it was a shot of whiskey i thought he was going to have a heart attack, not caring that I shot it like a pro.
best part of the day was when jess decides to tell my dad about what the boy said about sleeping with me.....then i thought we both were going to have a heart attack, but i guess we have no secrets in our family.

moral of the story:don't bring sober sister out when you get smashed.
