The start of an adventure

So, I am starting my sex education unit today with my students. Yeah...

This is going to be very interesting. I've already learned a couple of things. At first, I was really worried that the students were not going to open up and ask good questions, but they have. Now, I'm just worried about them shutting up. The other think that I learned is that it seems most of my students are being educated about sex ed through the Tyra Banks show...I probably should start watching that. Also, during sex ed, your best classes become you worst and your worst classes become your best.

Below are just a few of the conversations that I can remember from the day.

Student: I saw a picture of a man having sex with a goat online, and they had a baby. It looked like a goat with a baby's face. Is that possible?

Me: No, it is not possible for a goat and a human to have a baby. People are good with computers, that's all.

Student: But it was on the internet.

Student: Can a man have two penises?

Me: No

Student: Are you sure, I thought I saw it on the Tyra Banks show?

Me: This is a time that you can ask questions that you might not want to ask your parents.

Student: I would rather ask my parents, you're weird.

Student: If a guy nuts in a girl, and then she sleeps with another guy and has cums, but he doesn't nut...can she get pregnant?

Me: What?

Students: Can you please stop staying vagina, I don't like that word. Could you just say something else....like va-jay-jay.

Me: Absolutely not.

Pre-test question: True or false: If both people don't say yes to sex (give consent), it is rape.

Me: True, both people have to want to have sex or it's rape.

Student: But what if it just happens?

Me: What is something that couples can do to not get pregnant?

Female student: "Put it in the butt"
